Lindsey Vuolo, J.D., M.P.H., performs legal, regulatory, and policy work related to addiction prevention and treatment with a focus on health care system reform. Her areas of expertise include insurance coverage for substance use disorder treatment, including improving parity compliance and enforcement. She also conducts research on federal and state responses to the opioid epidemic and was the lead author of a concise resource that provides recommendations and concrete strategies to prevent, reduce, treat, and manage opioid misuse, addiction, and the associated consequences. Prior to joining Partnership to End Addiction, Lindsey worked in regulatory affairs for a managed care organization. She earned a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, a Master of Public Health from Tufts University School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College.
