    Junior Product Manager

    Partnership to End Addiction is a national non-profit organization dedicated to ending the addiction crisis.  We understand addiction as a complex disease, demanding evidence-based, compassionate responses.     The Jr. Product Manager will be a vital member of the product team and support our internal platform and evaluation product needs. This individual will report to the VP, Product Management as well as the SVP, Family Services and Evaluation Research. They will work on a variety of products including data collection features, evaluation and research products, and other digital intervention tools. This person will have the opportunity to own and support the development of various products and will work cross-collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with public health-related experience looking to transition into a tech-focused role or someone just beginning their product management career with the strong desire to learn and contribute where needed for the success of the team.

    Responsibilities of the job include: 

    • Demonstrate and reflect the mission and values of the organization.
    • Proactively coordinate and collaborate with colleagues to fulfill the mission and objectives of the job.
    • Guide products from conception to launch, as well as support maintenance and improvements post launch.
    • Own the product roadmap for several product lines.
    • Conduct some user research to better understand the needs and experiences of current users to influence web and mobile experience.
    • Support product team on completing all deliverables.
    • Support the development of dashboards to track data collection from products and grants.
    • Conduct product testing and synthesize data to improve products.
    • Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written with users/customers, colleagues, and management to fulfill team’s objectives and ensure excellent customer service is provided.
    • Assist platform support team as needed, support includes but is not limited to: responding to inquiries and requests, answering questions, troubleshooting various issues, and escalating to appropriate technical personnel, digitally, virtually and via phone call.
    • Support improvement of user experience and efficiency within the Platform.
    • Willingness to continually learn additional skills, new software, and other programs to effectively support team goals.
    • Assist with other projects and perform miscellaneous tasks as needed.
    • Work under general supervision with some degree of independence.

    Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in public health, health science or research and 2+ years of relevant full-time work experience, preferably health product/health tech full-time work experience.
    • Previous product experience or bootcamp product management experience is preferred.
    • Ability to remain calm, patient, empathetic, and professional in all circumstances.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Office 365 and other common product software platforms (i.e. Asana, Trello, Airtable, Miro).
    • Ability to problem solve, work independently as well as have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and utilize effective time management.
    • Willingness to continually learn through on-the-job training, learning new applications and software.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

    Annual Salary Range: $53,000 – $58,000

    This is a hybrid role. The Jr. Product Manager will work in the New York City office at least one day per week.
