Yoyce Geronimo Galvan is the Senior Director of Peer Support Services at Partnership to End Addiction, where she oversees the daily operations of the Peer Support Program. In this role, she ensures that families and caregivers seeking support for a loved one’s substance use receive compassionate, high-quality care from a dedicated team of peer coaches and facilitators. Yoyce provides clinical supervision, on-call support, and ongoing guidance to peer volunteers, fostering their growth and effectiveness. She also provides comprehensive training for new volunteers, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to deliver empathetic, evidence-based peer support to families navigating challenging circumstances.
In an earlier role at Partnership to End Addiction, Yoyce served as the Manager of Service Equity and Inclusion, where she was responsible for enhancing and expanding services for the LGBTQ and Latino communities. She led the development of these programs to better serve diverse populations by ensuring they were available in Spanish, culturally sensitive to the unique experiences and needs of both communities. Furthermore, Yoyce has extensive experience working with various communities, including survivors of interpersonal violence such as sexual assault and domestic violence, as well as individuals with serious mental illnesses like bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Her diverse background enriches her current role, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of the multifaceted challenges faced by those she supports. Last, she earned a Master of Arts in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from William Paterson University and holds a dual Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from Kean University.
