Drug Guide for Parents, Available in a New App

With the ever-changing drug landscape and new trends emerging every day, we’ve created a smartphone app to help families who are concerned about the drugs their kids are exposed to. The “Drug Guide for Parents” is offered as a free download for the Android* and iPhone.

Based on our highly popular online Drug Guide resource, the app offers comprehensive, up-to-date information on the drugs most commonly abused by teens. It provides color visuals; “street” name/slang term references; a detailed explanation of the known ingredients; short- and long-term side effects; a brief description of what each drug looks like and how it is used; and its federal classification.

The app offers a direct link to call our Parents Toll-Free Helpline (open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET) for parents who want further information or are in need of extra support.

Help prevent teen drug and alcohol abuse by downloading the app today.

*PLEASE NOTE: The app may not be available for download on all Androids.
