Partnership to End Addiction is a national nonprofit uniquely positioned to reach, engage and help families impacted by addiction. With decades of experience in research, direct service, communications and partnership-building, we provide families with personalized support and resources — while mobilizing policymakers, researchers and health care professionals to better address addiction systemically on a national scale.
We are looking for an experienced head of growth marketing to strategize, lead and implement the organization’s multi-channel audience growth strategy. The successful candidate will have significant experience and a demonstrated track record in driving exponential reach, engagement, and conversion across both traditional and digital media, combined with a solid, iterative data-driven approach and excellent people management/development skills.
This position reports to the CMO and oversees four marketing managers responsible for the full suite of marketing channel activity, including print, broadcast, radio, digital advertising, social media, website and email.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement growth marketing plan toward tangible, quantified goals for website engagement, service engagement and audience acquisition
- Launch and report on coordinated marketing campaigns across print, broadcast, radio, digital advertising, social media, website and email
- Manage primary relationship and work in tandem with external agency partner on impactful media planning strategy
- Work with Head of Communications and Director of Communications Operations to develop integrated campaigns and ensure streamlined development of content for distribution on marketing channels
- Work across departments and varying levels of seniority to drive impact and influence outcomes
- Manage and develop four marketing channel managers
- Support earned media/PR initiatives across marketing channels
- Ensure that a plethora of goals are served through marketing practices across numerous departments, including corporate communications, marketing, family services, family partnerships, fundraising, research, system improvement, and technical assistance
- Identify and pursue tests in under-leveraged channels to assess opportunity for growth
- Proactively support the integration of a marketing automation platform, including the development of a marketing database, audience segments, user journeys and engagement/retention metrics
- Oversee media audit analysis, in collaboration with Finance
- With Media and Marketing Analytics, build, optimize and report on activity leveraging direct marketing reporting dashboards by a variety of views, including audience growth by type of media, channel, audience, etc.
- Organize and oversee organizational backlog and Asana projects
- Manage growth marketing budget
- Support the development of a master-branded virtual events channel
Requirements:
- 7+ years people management and development
- 7+ years of comparable growth marketing experience, preferably in digital audience development, engagement and conversion, across various types of marketing channels;
- 12+ years relevant experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
- Experience driving marketing campaigns within marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua, HubSpot)
- Experience using real-time business intelligence platform (e.g., Domo, Tableau) to optimize and justify marketing ROI
- Experience working in marketing project management software (e.g., Asana)
- Experience working with a media planning and buying agency
- Strong command of media and marketing KPIs and demonstrated track record of test-and-learn performance against goals
- Ability to effectively interface with colleagues at all levels of seniority
- Exceptional written, oral, analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Detail orientation and project management skills, combined with the ability to manage complexity and not get bogged down in detail
