The Partnership for Drug-Free Kids (“The Partnership”) Messaging & Communication Service Terms

By registering to receive communications (“Partnership Support Messages”) via Short Message Service or text, or through any other form of messaging communication including, live-chat, email, phone (referred to as “Messaging Service”), you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of this Agreement (“Terms”) and The Partnership website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If you are connecting through Facebook, you are subject to both the terms of the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids and the following terms of Facebook: Beta Product Testing Terms, Facebook Terms and Pages, Groups and Events Policies.

Authorization: You certify that you are authorized: (a) to enroll the designated mobile phone number in the Messaging Service, and (b) to incur any mobile message or data charges that may be incurred by participating in the Messaging Service.

Subscribing to SMS Messages: You may subscribe to Messaging Service by entering and submitting your phone number, email or other method of contact in the provided submission form available on our website and our mobile application. By entering your phone number or personal information (eg email) and completing the submission form, you consent to these terms and to receive text message communications from The Partnership as described herein. A message will be delivered to the communication channel identifier (e.g. phone number, email, Facebook Messenger Account) you provided confirming your enrollment once you have submitted your phone number. You are responsible for managing the types of messaging you receive.

By subscribing to Messaging Service, you expressly consent and agree to accept and receive Partnership Support Messages and related communications via text message to your mobile device and to the cellular/mobile telephone number(s) and email or other communication contact that you provided to us. The information in any message may be subject to certain time lags and/or delays.

Frequency of Messages: The number and frequency of Messages sent to your device depends on the program you have enrolled for and if you’ve asked for help or support via messaging.

To Stop Messages: Text STOP to 55753 or reply STOP to any message or communication you receive, or contact The Partnership Customer Service at the contact information listed at You consent that following such a request to unsubscribe, you will receive one (1) final message from The Partnership confirming that you have been inactivated in our system. Message, Voice and Data rates may apply. By participating in the Messaging Service, you approve any such charges from your mobile carrier. Check your carrier’s plan for details. You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible and liable for obtaining, maintaining, and paying all charges related to your mobile device(s).

No Guarantee: The Partnership is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, or misdirected messages, including (but not limited to) undelivered messages resulting from any form of filtering by your mobile carrier or service provider or otherwise.

Use of Automated Dialing Technology: You acknowledge and agree that the Messaging Service may be provided in some cases through automatic telephone dialing technology, an artificial voice or a pre-recorded voice. By providing us your phone number, you expressly consent to receive the Messaging Service through automatic dialing technology, artificial and pre-recorded voice.

General Communications: You agree to receive notifications from The Partnership, its representatives, employees, and agents, through any means authorized under these Terms, including phone calls and text messages that use automatic telephone dialing technology, artificial voice or pre-recorded voice or live person.

Carriers & Privacy: Supported carriers include all major United States carriers including, AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile®, Sprint, and others as well as email providers (eg Google, Yahoo, etc.) and other company’s that provide communication channels that you use to communicate with the Partnership. .While we keep our information secure and do not share identifiable information with any third party, the information sent between you and anyone at the Partnership is subject to the privacy policy of your communication carrier. For example, your text messages will be managed by your carrier like any other text message you send and receive and will be secure and private as any other text message you send or receive. Emails will be as secure and private as any other email you send and receive. Facebook Messenger messages will be as secure and private as any other message you send or receive through Facebook. You must refer to the privacy policy and terms of use of the communication channel you use to communicate with the Partnership.

Termination: The Partnership reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend any or all of the Messaging Service, in whole or in part, for any reason, with or without notice to you.
