CEO & President

Creighton is CEO of Partnership to End Addiction, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the addiction crisis and helping young people live healthy, addiction-free lives. Since joining in January 2018, he successfully merged two major organizations—the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA) and Partnership for Drug-Free Kids—substantially expanding the organization’s capacity. 

Leadership Experience: 30+ years as nonprofit executive, government official, and attorney. Former Executive Director of Covenant House New York, Assistant Attorney General and Director of Prevention for New Jersey, President of New Jersey Community Development Corporation, and Assistant State Director for U.S. Senator Bill Bradley. 

Expertise: Nonprofit leadership and mergers, addiction prevention policy, youth services, organizational transformation, public-private partnerships, state-level addiction prevention programs. 

Credentials: J.D. from University of Virginia School of Law, B.A. in history and political science from Rutgers University (Henry Rutgers Scholar, basketball team captain).
