Federal Officials Suspend Database of Programs to Treat Addiction and Mental Illness
Health officials have suspended a database of programs that help prevent and treat addiction and mental illness, The Washington Post reports.
Mad Men, Black Swan, The Fighter, Parenthood, Grey’s Anatomy and Nurse Jackie were among the films and television shows recognized Thursday night at the 15th Annual PRISM Awards, which honor entertainment that accurately depicts and brings attention to substance abuse and mental health issues.
The awards are produced by the Entertainment Industries Council in collaboration with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and FX.
