    CSAP Prevention Fellowship Program

Applications for two-year fellowships are now being accepted by the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP). Chosen fellows will work with state, community and local agencies to improve their hands-on skills and knowledge, with the goal of developing a cadre of “highly competent substance-abuse prevention professionals,” according to CSAP.

The CSAP Prevention Fellowship Program is accepting applicants with a bachelor's degree or higher in a field associated with alcohol and other drug prevention, plus at least a combined two years of college and work experience in the prevention field.

Fellows will receive a stipend of up to $35,000 per year. The two-year assignment will begin on Oct. 1.

Application deadline is Sept. 21. Candidates may apply online. For more information, contact  project officer Daniel A. Bailey at bailey@samhsa.hhs.gov or 240-276-2439.
