RAISING RESILIENT KIDS

An initiative to protect young people's health and nurture safe and supportive families and communities.

Healthy Kids Start Here

Working together with national leaders in youth development and children’s health, Partnership to End Addiction presents Raising Resilient Kids.

We’re engaging parents, community groups, corporations, schools and health care providers to share resources and best practices to strengthen young people’s mental and physical health, family bonds, school performance and engagement. Together, we’re nurturing safe and supportive communities for kids nationwide.

Raising Resilient Kids includes two key components. The first is a collaborative report, A Parent’s Guide to Raising Resilient Kids. Second, a related webinar convened a diverse group of expert partners to discuss content and themes from the guide. Hosted and moderated by Emmy award-winning journalist and Partnership Board member Elizabeth Vargas, the October 2021 webinar was streamed live and recorded.

This initiative builds on Partnership to End Addiction’s legacy, through CASA Family Day, of promoting simple, everyday actions parents can take to connect with their kids. On the 20th anniversary of this program, we celebrate that legacy by expanding and deepening the scope of those actions—from simply sharing a meal together to exploring the many protective factors that can help kids thrive.
