Partnership to End Addiction is seeking a full-time Research Assistant to join the Research Division to support several projects focused on family involvement in youth substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery. The Research Assistant will work as an integral member of the Family and Adolescent Clinical Technology & Science (FACTS) team to help with several study tasks and will report to the FACTS Director of Clinical Training and Research Operations.

This position is funded by a NIDA (National Institute on Drug Abuse) grant through August 2024.  Duration of employment is limited to the duration of the grant.  Those with a background in psychology and/or an interest in applying to graduate school are encouraged to apply.

 Responsibilities of the job include: 

• Demonstrate and reflect the mission and values of the organization.
• Proactively coordinate and collaborate with colleagues to fulfill mission and objectives of the job.
• Online data management and tracking
• Communicating with study participants, providing technical support as needed
• Assisting with additional tasks related to consenting participants and collecting data
• Assisting with data cleaning and analysis
• Completing miscellaneous administrative/coordination tasks within the FACTS team

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology or other social science
• At least 1 year of relevant research experience
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to work as part of a cohesive team, but also to work independently when needed to achieve goals.
• Experience using SPSS preferred
• Compassion and empathy for those impacted by addiction

Starting Pay Range: 

$45,000 – $50,000 annual salary, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
