A True Story of Hope

2 1

Since I was 12 years old I have used numerous drugs. But it all started with weed. For years I was addicted to drugs. All kinds. I spent 15 years in prisons because of my addictions. I never knew freedom. Never knew peace. Never knew hope.

I had tried so many times to quit on my own. Every time I got out of prison I tried to stay clean and sober. But I had no power. I was weak to my addictions. And one day I truly believed what my mother had always taught me. I reached the end of my rope and knew that my life was over if I didn't find hope.

That's when Jesus came into my life. Jesus,The Lord of my life and this world set me free from the power of addiction. From that day forward I knew a peace. I knew what life without a miserable addiction was.

Oh, yes! There's temptations to be faced. But none of them have power over me and all of them can be resisted. The difference in quitting and allowing Jesus to set you free from addictions, is if you quit you will fail sooner or later because you are striving in your own strength. But when you let God deal with the problems, you are DELIVERED!!!

There is power in the name of Jesus. All you have to do to receive freedom from your addiction, is truly reach the end of your rope and realize that you can't do anything to fix your problems. Once you've reached this point, then just be honest and tell God that you know His way is the only way. That you believe that Jesus is the son of God and that He died for your sins so that you could be set free. He paid the price that you couldn't.

I promise it works...what do you have to lose!?!? If you're reading this then your already making the first step...you're looking for help outside of yourself.....
