Center on Addiction Honors CVS Health, Viacom and Journalist Terry DeMio at Gala Hosted by Sutton Foster, Two-Time Tony Award-Winning Actress

We are honored to announce that we will celebrate our annual gala at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City on Tuesday, November 19. The evening’s festivities will help commemorate the recent merger between Center on Addiction and Partnership for Drug-Free Kids.

Serving as our Master of Ceremonies will be Sutton Foster, two-time Tony Award-winning actress, star of TV Land’s “Younger” and of the upcoming Broadway production of “The Music Man.”

We will honor corporate citizens CVS Health and Viacom with distinguished awards for their support of our work to transform the way the nation addresses addiction. The award for CVS Health will accepted by President and CEO, Larry J. Merlo and accepting on behalf of Viacom will be President and CEO, Bob Bakish.

Also at this year’s gala, we will recognize Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, Terry DeMio, with a special tribute award for her commitment to telling powerful stories about the country’s addiction epidemic. DeMio is the heroin epidemic reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer.
