The Partnership Presents at National Association of Attorneys General Winter Meeting

We served on the panel at the 2018 National Association of Attorneys General Winter Meeting in Washington, D.C last week. The panel, which was focused on “Safe Purchasing and Use of Prescription Drugs,” was moderated by the Attorney General of Connecticut, George Jepsen.

The country’s opioid epidemic has created new issues for law enforcement in the consumer health space. The panel showcased innovative consumer education efforts and state-based approaches that Attorneys General can implement to provide resources to their constituents.

As part of the panel discussion, our Chief Policy Officer, Marcia Lee Taylor presented the Partnership’s direct family support services, including our free resources to address opioid use disorders among adolescents and young adults at drugfree.org, our Parent Helpline (855-DRUGFREE) and our Parent Coaching program.
