One of our parent coaches and a father from Oklahoma who lost his son to an addiction last year, Bill Guy, was recently interviewed by OKC news in Oklahoma. He said he wanted to share his son Chris’s story publicly to let other families know that they are not alone.
Bill’s son Chris began using substances at the age of 12 and he warns other parents to stay vigilant and aware.
Bill is a new Parent Coach for the Partnership who recently went through a training to offer peer-to-peer support and assistance to families who are dealing with their teen or young adult’s substance issues.
