Partnership Leads Community Education Event in Dayton, Ohio

The latest “Train the Trainer” session – an initiative of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s DEA360 program – took place this week in Dayton, Ohio. The trainings provide a basic understanding of the nation’s opioid epidemic, how it is affecting local communities and ways to implement effective policies to prevent and respond to the current opioid crisis.

The trainings are geared toward law enforcement officials, treatment professionals and prevention centers, who will take what they’ve learned and then present to their own constituents and communities.

Our own Kevin Collins, who spearheads our parent and community support services programs, led the training and was featured in a WDTN 2 News piece about the event.
