High school students are more likely to use marijuana than to binge drink, a new report indicates.

The report found the jurisdictions with the highest percentage of high school students who say they smoked marijuana in the past month are Washington, D.C., New Mexico, Washington, Connecticut and Vermont. Almost one-third of students in Washington, D.C. said they smoke marijuana.

The states with the highest percentage of high school students who said they engaged in binge drinking in the past month are West Virginia, Montana, New Jersey, Iowa and Arkansas, The Washington Post reports.

The findings come from Project Know, a website that connects people to alcohol and drug addiction treatment resources.
