Marcia Lee Taylor Headshot- homepage image- Partnership for Drug-Free Kids CEOAfter nearly a decade at the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs, I am thrilled to begin my first official week in my new role as President and CEO. I am grateful to our Board of Directors for giving me the extraordinary opportunity to lead the Partnership, an organization with a rich history and a mission close to my heart. As a mom, I feel particularly moved by our work helping families who are struggling with a child’s substance abuse, as well as our campaign to empower teens to live Above the Influence. Together, we are providing a lifeline to millions of parents and their kids. I am so proud of the service that the Partnership is providing to so many families and I look forward to expanding our reach in my new role.

As we prepare to kick off our 30th year, I feel extremely fortunate to work with a remarkable team of dedicated staff, along with our national network of parents and volunteers who do so much to help families across the country. This talented group of people, and their commitment to supporting families and reducing substance abuse among adolescents, is unmatched.   Thank you for being by our side for some of our noteworthy accomplishments, including groundbreaking initiatives like the Medicine Abuse Project, our communications and education campaign to reduce teen prescription drug and over-the-counter cough medicine abuse. We are going to need your continued support in our work to empower teens to live Above the Influence and in our ongoing efforts to help parents help their kids.

I look forward to taking this journey with you, our friends and partners, and continuing the work that serves a new generation of kids and families.
