We are excited to announce that The Medicine Abuse Project – our multi-year campaign that aims to prevent half a million teens from abusing medicine by the year 2017 – is the winner of a PRSA Silver Anvil Award of Excellence in the Public Service category.
The Silver Anvil, symbolizing the forging of public opinion, is annually awarded to organizations which have successfully addressed contemporary issues with exemplary professional skill, creativity and resourcefulness. In the 60-plus year history of the Silver Anvil Awards, more than 1,000 organizations have been recognized with Silver Anvils for excellence in public relations. Winners of the award were announced on June 13th.
The Medicine Abuse Project also received a PRSA New York Big Apple Award in the Public Service: Government, Associations & Non-Profit Organizations category and a Virginia PRSA Commonwealth Award of Excellence in the Public Service Category.
We would like to thank our agency partner, CRT/tanaka, for their hard work on The Medicine Abuse Project and their assistance in gaining this prestigious recognition.
