College students should stop playing beer pong and sharing drink cups in order to prevent the spread of the H1N1 (swine) flu this fall, a New York school advises.

The Associated Press reported Oct. 13 that health officials at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) said that several H1N1 cases on campus have been traced to a group of students who shared drinks during a weekend that included drinking games.

The school has reported 21 cases of swine flu, with seven students placed in isolation while they recover from the illness.
