The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is now accepting applications for the Sober Truth on Preventing Underage Drinking (STOP) Act Grants, intended to prevent and reduce underage alcohol use.
SAMHSA is seeking proposals for environmental strategies for preventing and reducing underage drinking. Nonprofits, government entities, schools, and other groups that are currently or previously received funding from the Drug Free Communities Program are eligible to apply.
Approximately $1 million in grants will be awarded to up to 20 grantees; maximum annual award is $50,000.
