New Documentary to Stream on Peacock, The Roku Channel, Crackle, & Amazon Freevee

Partnership to End Addiction is pleased to announce that its documentary, “Untreated & Unheard: The Addiction Crisis in America,” will be available to stream on Peacock, The Roku Channel, Crackle, and Amazon Freevee, in addition to Pluto TV where the film premiered.

“It’s incredible to see these powerful platforms come together to shine a spotlight on this important topic, which impacts so many people. It’s a true testament to the power of this film and the urgency of this issue,” said Bill Koenigsberg, CEO and founder of Horizon Media, who sits on the Partnership to End Addiction board and enabled production of the documentary. “The collective focus of this effort will ensure the often-muted stories of those living through addiction and their loved ones are no longer unheard and begin to inspire many more to hope and triumph.”

The documentary follows individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder, like Tonia Ahern, a mother from New Jersey who has worked tirelessly for over a decade to educate, support, and empower families while advocating for better and more integrated systems of addiction care. As many as 20 million Americans have a substance use disorder, yet only one in 10 can access care.

The film also features prominent addiction experts, including Nora Volkow, M.D., Director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse, and Fred Muench, Ph.D., Senior Advisor at Partnership to End Addiction. Portions of the film are also available on The documentary was made possible through the active participation and leadership of Horizon Media.

The documentary was produced and developed by Paramount’s in-house branded content studio and premiered last November on Pluto TV. It launched on Peacock in December, The Roku Channel in January, Amazon Freevee in February, and Crackle on March 1.
