Partnership to End Addiction is seeking a full-time Research Project Coordinator to join a research team that develops and tests digital interventions to address substance use in pregnant and postpartum people. This role will act as the primary project coordinator for a federally funded three-year project aimed at evaluating a digital screening and brief intervention for perinatal substance use in a state home visiting system. This position is funded by a NIDA grant.  Duration of this position is dependent on continued funding from NIDA for the role.

Responsibilities of the job include: 

• Demonstrate and reflect the mission and values of the organization.
• Proactively coordinate and collaborate with colleagues to fulfill mission and objectives of the job.
• Work under limited supervision, while exercising independent discretion and judgment to accomplish goals.
• Conduct literature reviews and summaries to support study activities.
• Coordinate communication with study co-investigators, consultants, state partners, and home visiting staff.
• Manage participant recruitment and data collection.
• Conduct online focus groups and semi-structured interviews with study participants.
• Assist with development of content for the digital intervention.
• Manage administrative aspects of grant, including IRB, Data Safety and Monitoring Board, and submission to federal data archives in accordance with requirements of NIDA.
• Assist with data cleaning and analysis.
• Transcribe and code qualitative data.
• Maintain project protocol documentation and accurate project records.
• Co-author narrative and research reports and conference presentations on study findings.

Qualifications: 

• Master’s degree in psychology, public health, or related field, or Bachelor’s Degree plus 2+ years’ equivalent work experience, plus
• 1+ years’ full-time research project coordination experience.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a cohesive team, but also to exercise independent judgment when needed to achieve goals.
• Some data analysis experience preferred, preferably using R or SPSS.

Annual Salary Range:  $55,000 – $63,000
