We translate the latest research into professional development that enables substance use and addiction treatment providers to implement the most effective care available.

Courses are self-guided and grant participants access to training modules, videos and other learning materials all designed to improve treatment and care. We understand the time constraints treatment providers face; courses are designed to be completed on your schedule.

The following courses, created in partnership with the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), are currently available to substance use treatment professionals.

Strengthening Clinical Care

This course is for providers who want to improve quality and treatment practices across the continuum of care. The videos provide viewers with an opportunity to hear directly from OASAS leadership on topics that can impact substance use disorder (SUD) treatment outcomes. It provides expert review and discussion of clinical standards and evidence-based practices within the following contexts:

CRAFT (Community Reinforcement Approach and Family Training)

CRAFT is an evidence-based practice families can use to support a loved one’s treatment and recovery. This course is a supplement to in-person training and provides a hub of resources for clinicians interested in building their skills and incorporating CRAFT into their practice.
