Partnership for Drug-Free Kids Launches Vaping Resource for Parents
The Partnership launched a new Vaping Guide, a resource to help parents talk with their kids about the risks of vaping.
Through generous donations from caring and concerned individuals across the country, we help families raise healthy teens, offer support to parents as they seek assistance for loved ones with drug or alcohol problems and conduct essential research to ensure that our programs make a difference.
We also remember and honor the lives of loved ones tragically lost to drugs and alcohol.
Last month, the Burket family of Lowell, MA, held their second memorial fundraiser to honor their son, Thomas Burket, who died in 2008, and Jody Woodruff, Jr., who died in 2010. These two young men lost their lives to addiction. All proceeds raised at the event were donated to the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids to assist families who want and need support with drug abuse prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery. The fundraiser also raised awareness about the dangers of substance abuse and how it devastates families.
the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids sends our sincere condolences to the Burket and Woodruff families and thanks them for their generous support for our organization which will continue to help countless other families.
Please visit Thomas Burkets’ memorial story and post a tribute.
