Opinion: It’s a ‘Hazard’ to Discount the Proven Benefits of Naloxone
A recently published op-ed questions the public health benefits of naloxone while ignoring existing literature on its benefits as a life-saving medication.
We are excited to announce that The Medicine Abuse Project – our multi-year campaign that aims to prevent half a million teens from abusing medicine by the year 2017 – has been named a finalist in the PRSA Silver Anvil Awards.
The Silver Anvil, symbolizing the forging of public opinion, is annually awarded to organizations which have successfully addressed contemporary issues with exemplary professional skill, creativity and resourcefulness. In the 60-plus year history of the Silver Anvil Awards, more than 1,000 organizations have been recognized with Silver Anvils for excellence in public relations. Winners of the award will be announced at a special ceremony taking place on June 13th.
We would like to thank our agency partner, CRT/tanaka, for their hard work on The Medicine Abuse Project and their assistance in getting our campaign nominated for this prestigious recognition.
