Partnership for Drug-Free Kids Expresses Support for Office of National Drug Control Policy in White House Letter

Last week, the Partnership was among 200+ organizations – including state government officials, community-based organizations, law enforcement and others working in prevention, treatment and recovery – adding their signature to a letter to the White House budget director expressing support for the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP).

A recent New York Times article reported that the office is under consideration for elimination.

We unequivocally believe that ONDCP serves a critical and unique role in overseeing and coordinating federal efforts to curb the country’s current opioid epidemic, affecting countless families that the Partnership serves and supports.
