Check Out the Partnership’s 2016 Annual Report

Our latest annual report for is now available and here are a few highlights of all we accomplished together in the past year:

Hearst Television gave our work a big spotlight, not only running our PSAs, but airing the “State of Addiction” TV series, which illustrates how the nation’s opioid crisis impacts families across the U.S. We collaborated with Hearst Television to offer relevant family stories and research to help educate people across the country for the series.

We re-launched our famous “Fried Egg” PSA campaign, “Fried Egg 2016,” with a nod to the Partnership’s iconic TV spot from the 1980s, but re-envisioned to reflect parenting today and the change in perceptions and awareness around substance use.

We also launched a short documentary “BREAKING POINTS,” which features real students discussing the reasons young people misuse Rx medicines that were not prescribed for them, including Rx medicines for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The documentary also features experts who examine the dangerous behavior of medicine abuse, and the BREAKING POINTS website provides discussion sheets and action plans for schools or panels that wish to tackle this issue together.
