    Sapphire Awards Available from Florida Blue Foundation

    Groups that improve health outcomes for at-risk populations and communities in Florida may apply for funding via the 2010 Sapphire Awards, funded by the Blue Foundation for a Healthy Florida.

    The foundation, the philanthrophic arm of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, will make awards of up to $100,000 to efforts that “build on community assets, enhance organizational capacity, foster systemic change, and/or lead to lasting policy changes that improve health.”

    Application deadline is May 12. For more details, see the RFP online.
