Funds for Reducing High-Risk Drinking Among College Students

Colleges and universities can apply for grants from the U.S. Department of Education to support programs that seek to reduce high-risk drinking and violent behavior among college students.

Funding will be directed to efforts to develop, enhance, implement and/or evaluate prevention efforts.

Grants of up to $150,000 will be awarded to institutions of higher education under this grant program; about 18 grants will be awarded for up to 24 months. A total of $2.447 million is available.
