First “Above the Influence” Day to Celebrate Youth Who Avoid Peer Pressure

The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) is sponsoring the first National “Above the Influence” (ATI) Day on October 18 to celebrate youth who avoid pressure to use drugs and alcohol.

ATI Day will take place during National Substance Abuse Prevention Month in October. Webinars are being offered on Thursday, September 6 and Wednesday, September 12 from 1-2 p.m. EDT to explain how to organize an ATI activity, event or youth experience.

On ATI Day, teens across the country will participate in a live-streaming panel discussion on the topic of influence, led by ONDCP Director Gil Kerlikowske.
