Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Partnership. Below are some of the best ways you can contribute your time and energy to helping us help more families.
Complete our volunteer survey and depending on your areas of interest, someone will follow-up to help point you in the right direction and get you started. Looking to volunteer in a different capacity? We welcome new ideas; use the survey to share your thoughts.

Become a Parent Coach

Coaching provides a unique opportunity for parents who have been impacted by their own child’s substance use to help other families in similar situations. We lead several sessions per year where we provide parents or guardians with free, specialized training to help you learn how to become a volunteer parent coach. Your first-hand experience can be an incredibly valuable resource for other families.

Be a Community Advocate

Wherever you are on the journey with your child, we need your voice! Parents like you can truly make a difference. Please let us know if you are interested in signing or sharing our petitions, calling or meeting with your representatives, spreading the word on social media, or going to Washington D.C. to advocate on behalf of families.

Share Your Story

Many families and individuals have shared their personal stories related to drug use, treatment, recovery and loss to help unite others touched by addiction — and to offer help and hope. We invite you to share yours, even if it’s just a small anecdote, to inform and inspire others. It is always your choice to keep your information private or to change your name – share only what you are comfortable sharing.

Become a Social Media Ambassador

Are you a Facebook guru, an Instagram hack, a Twitter monster, or even a Snapchat fanatic? We are always looking for new ways to reach more parents and families. If you love networking and connecting with people, we’d love to work with you!
